Supporting Safety Initiatives

In an effort to help keep our communities safe and connected, NGT&S reminds homeowners and professionals to always call 811 before any digging project. We also support the Pipelines and Informed Planning Alliance (PIPA), created to assist communities in making better land use planning and development decisions related to pipelines.

Warren County Expansion Project

As part of NGT&S’s commitment to continue to safely and reliably meet the energy needs of the region, Columbia is proposing to install approx. 2.5 miles of new 24-inch diameter pipeline in Warren County, Va. Columbia filed an application with the FERC on May 20, 2011. Subject to FERC approval, construction would begin in spring of 2013, with a targeted ready-for-service date of November 2013.
