Stan serves as NiSource Gas Transmission & Storage’s Senior Vice President for Marketing and Customer Services. In this role, he is responsible for all regulated commercial operations, which includes the sale of all storage, transportation and balancing services, as well as the optimization of all gas control, nomination, scheduling and measurement activities on Columbia Gas Transmission, Columbia Gulf Transmission and Crossroads Pipeline.
Stan started his career in the natural gas pipeline sector in 1988. Prior to joining NGT&S in December of 2011, he spent nearly 24 years in various roles within the El Paso pipeline group where, prior to his departure, he was Vice President for Marketing, Business Development and Asset Optimization. In that role he successfully directed the investment of over $1 billion in growth capital related to new expansion projects in the Marcellus and Utica supply basins, led the successful settlement of rate cases pending before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and demonstrated a consistent pattern of value creation through the implementation of creative marketing strategies.
After earning a B.S. degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, Stan went on to obtain an M.B.A with a specialization in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. He is a past board member of the Northeast Gas Association and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Society of Gas Lighters.
