Central Kentucky Transmission

Central Kentucky Transmission Company (CKT) is an interstate pipeline of approximately 28.6 miles of underground natural gas transmission pipeline known as line KA-1 that runs between the Bybee interconnection with Columbia Gulf Transmission in Madison County, KY, and the city of Lexington, KY.

The pipeline is jointly owned by Columbia Gas Transmission and Central Kentucky Transmission. It is operated and maintained by Columbia Gas Transmission. Central Kentucky Transmission's ownership interest in line KA-1 equates to a total capacity of 28,000 Dekatherm/day.
