Central Kentucky Transmission

Central Kentucky Transmission Company (CKT) is an interstate natural gas transmission pipeline of approximately 28 miles known as Line KA-1. The pipeline links the Bybee interconnection of Columbia Gulf Transmission in Madison County, KY, with facilities serving the city of Lexington.

The pipeline is jointly owned by Columbia Gas Transmission and Central Kentucky Transmission. It is operated and maintained by Columbia Gas Transmission. Central Kentucky Transmission’s ownership interest in line KA-1 equates to a total capacity of 28,000 Dekatherm/day.
